Today in math class I learned about variables. Variables in my understanding are math symbols created by people to trick young kids and also in a way help them.
They get on my nerves for two reasons. Number 1 They can be so frustrating because they can mean anything. And 2 well I don't love math but It's a very important to live a normal life I don't understand why but thats what i've heard my whole life.

However variables can be your best friend. Why? You may ask and How? Variables at times can be hair-pulling frustrating but also can be very useful. My one and only reason is because they can be so simple and you can figure them out with ease.

I think algebra is just a bunch of jumbled numbers. :)

Iam having some compications on pi. I hope that we can soon resolve that odd problem.

Struggles in Math

My struggles in math are probably converting decimals and algebra (specifically system of equations).

I struggle in decimal fractions because I think that working more is better which is not! I tend to do more work and that obviously doesn't work. The strategy I use for converting decimals is the long long division! It takes forever! That is nerve wrecking! Then when I look back at Karina she's already done! AhHhH!!!!

I struggle with algebra because as you may already know algebra is very very confusing!

The Raindrop!

My game is about Water Conservation in Austin, Texas. It uis about the Journey of a raindrop goibn through the different ways of water conservation. I can incorporate decimals, percentages, and fractions by.....

1. Giving "Fun Facts" about water we waste, how much water is used by the average person, the amount of water that is recycled, etc.
2. Giving the percentages of water that is purefied a year
3. Name the fraction of people who waste and conserve water
4. At the end of the game I will give you the amount of water you saved!!!

3rd 6 Weeks Exam

On my six weeks exam I think I did excellent! I asked Ms.Penticuff to grade it and I only missed two! Which is AWESOME! I love math! I corrected the two I missed and do not know my score just yet! I am so excited! Overall I think I did excellent!

Bloxorz

The game Bloxorz is about problem solving, patterns, shapes, and perseverance. The problem solving would be getting the rectangular prism inside the trap to proceed to the next level. I am not sure how many levels there are because I've only gotten to level 14. Patterns because there are many shapes that you have to land on in a certain position like in a vertical or horizontal position. Shapes because the the "bloxor" can shift. And last ,but not least perseverance. You need perseverance to complete the levels and not get frustrated or you'll end up like Steven and quit 'cause he can't get past level 4! Lol!

I like the game Bloxorz because it has lots of morals and learning skills. I also like it because it is a challenge and people like me LOVE! a good challenge.
